For the month of October we only had one event. The Fall Adopt-A-Highway event was held on October 29th with nine participants. Thank you to Rob Tripp for coordinating this activity to keep our local roads clean! Here is a photo of the great cleaning crew.
The Monarchs In Motion 5K planned for October 15th was cancelled. An unfortunate casualty of the hurricane weather impacting school schedules. The race will be rescheduled for spring 2016 so watch the website for details at this site.
The CPO annual holiday box prep is scheduled for Saturday, November 5th from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. The sign up genius has been posted at this link. As part of this day we will donate 36 children's coats for the CPO to distribute. These coats are part of the Knights Coats-for-Kids program that our local council purchased with profits from our fund raising activities.
