Grand Knight's Message
Where has the Lenten Season gone? This Sunday is the fifth Sunday of Lent and I am still in preparation for the resurrection of our Lord and Savior. Challenges lie ahead for me, but with God's Grace we will be fine. I trust you have all set aside your own quiet time to prepare for Easter.
As we continue in the Lenten season, let us continue our good work as a council. We have Catholic Parish Outreach (pictured above) STMM food collection, a Blood Drive and our last Fish Fry of the season. I hope that you all find room in your heart, and your busy schedule, to come out and volunteer for these worthy causes.
To ensure you all know, Paul Thomann has asked to step down as our Financial Secretary (FS). We offer our thanks for twelve years of service and our prayers for a smooth transition. Our very own Frank Demaria will serve as interim Financial Secretary and we have several knights that are interested in assessing the role and determining if the can commitment. If you personally have any interest in servicing as our FS, please let myself OR DGK Chris Hanes know. Very proud of the strength of the brothers within council 7186!
