Grand Knight Messages

Weekly update September 20

Hello Brothers, Wives and Friends,

Apex Music Fest was a Success!

Council 7186 was in full motion at the Apex Music Fest.  It was truly a team effort with wives, children and friends all helping out.  We started the day with a core team of five for the setup at 1:00 and finished up just after midnight.  WOW.  Our profits were just under 1700.00 for the day!

Last night nine of your knights met Jim Gilbowsky to assemble the large cross and test the large cross in various locations within the Chapel.  Pictures were taken and were sent to Father for a decision on location and potential adjustments to the over size..

Also last night, we met on the upcoming monthly pancake breakfast.  All logistics were discussed, agreed and confirmed.  Please look for a signup genius invite coming out soon.  Our first two will be Sunday October 8th after the 9:00 AM and 10:45 Masses.  This fundraiser is a community building event, meeting potential candidates and with proceeds going to the Church for the items that Father mentioned.  More on that later.

Finally, our quarterly adopt-a-highway is this Saturday September 23 staring at 8:30 AM.  Here is the signup:

We are called!  Now is a great time to come out and get involved.
