Fraternal Prayer Corner

Please remember to send me your prayer requests.  I will not publicly publish here unless you request.  Thank you

Prayers for a close friend of the McGrath family who at 15 was diagnosed with Lupus, an autoimmune disease, that she will find the help and support to continue to live a normal and fruitful life.
Prayers for Tony Polermo and his family as they navigate his eventual discharge from the hospital after many weeks. Tony is still in the hospital and is not able to walk.  They moved him from Chapel Hill intensive care to Johnson Memorial and are waiting for an opening in the right rehab for him.  He has almost fully healed from his various surgeries and has color back in his face for the first time in 3 months.  Tony is now alert and looking forward to a full recovery.  He has lost over 100 pounds while in the hospital.

For our first responders and military who keep us all safe daily. May God continue to watch over and protect them, and their families.

For those unemployed and under employed.

Send me an email if you would like to add a prayer request here or any other special intentions.  Additionally, if you need assistance, send me an email at and we will organize the help.

With all my love and support, your fraternal brother, Tom

Pennsylvania Sex Abuse Scandal

Video of Fr Mike Schmitz's response to the recent church abuse scandal (see link below). It is about 16 minutes long and well worth the watch. His reaction is raw, honest, and a reminder that there are many good priests in our world that could use our prayers and support right now. As Fr Mike says towards the end of the video, now is not a time to "leave" the church, but to "lead" the church in our homes and in our communities and become the saints we are called to be.
